Branding Your Twitter Page
| Share |
When you are marketing your business on Twitter it is important to brand your page to match your website, blog, and other marketing materials. The best way to do this is to use a custom Twitter background image. On this background image, you can not only include your logo and branding graphics, but also information about you, your business, and basic contact information. Think of it as your Twitter business card.
Here are some examples of Twitter marketers dressing up their pages:
Shama Hyder Twitter Page (consultant/service business):
On Shama’s page she includes a mini bio about herself on the left side, and on the right side she includes all of her URLs to her blogs, websites, and company. Notice how she uses the cartoon of herself and the cityscape in the background from her website http://www.Shama.tv so that all her online marketing has a consistent look and feel.
Joel Comm (author/consultant):
Joel is using his background to help promote his website and new book ‘Twitter Power’ (highly recommend the book by the way). I like how he puts his photo in an iPhone for a fun and creative look on the left side, and a photo of the book on the right. In once glance visitors can tell that he’s an author.

Social Media Marketing is really the trend these days. i market most of my products through social networking sites..
The accessibility of Twitter and other social networking sites, as well as the popularity of text messaging, have made short-form communication an everyday reality. But expressing yourself declaratively in short messages with 140-character max involves good writing skill.
Twitter is a cool way to quickly connect with other people, create great online visibility, drive traffic,. and even market and make sales. The problem with twiter is that so many people mess up their advertising strategy from the beginning. The great news here is that makes it easy for you to stand out when you do it adequately.

Hey xj9o411zxf, very interesting post, it really got me thinking. Thank you. 5diwz rtp73
Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.
